Apply for a Doctoral Co-Supervision

If you are currently a PhD student or planning to pursue a PhD at one of the INGENIUM partner universities and are interested in co-supervision, please follow the steps outlined below.

Application Steps

Step 1 – Search for a Co-Supervisor

To find an INGENIUM Co-supervisor for your doctoral studies you must first choose a Doctoral Ecosystem best suited to your research domain and in the ecosystem’s specific list of PhD Co-supervisors you can find staff from partner universities willing to offer diverse perspectives and expertise.

Step 2 – Initial Contact with Co-Supervisor

Please fill out the form below. The IRSB will forward your submission directly to the proposed co-supervisor.
The co-supervisor will respond to both the student and the IRSB.

Step 3 – Confirmation of Arrangement

Once an agreement has been reached with the co-supervisor, the student should inform the IRSB by providing the following details:

Expected start date of the mobility
Information regarding mobility funding

The student may contact the IRSB at irsb@ingenium-university.eu to apply for a Co-Supervision INGENIUM Certificate.

Step 4 – Issuance of Co-Supervision Certificate

After the mobility period has been completed, a digitally signed certificate confirming the successful implementation of the co-supervision will be issued.
The student should notify the IRSB via email to initiate this process.
