Bringing Sustainability into the Classroom: New Course Material for Teachers

Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword at INGENIUM, it’s a shared commitment. Through Education for Sustainable Development, we aim to help students understand and engage with the environmental, social, and economic challenges shaping our world today. The goal? To prepare a new generation ready to build a greener, fairer, and more resilient future.

But this isn’t about adding one more topic to an already full syllabus. It’s about rethinking how we teach and learn. Education for Sustainable Development encourages active learning, giving students the tools, skills, and confidence to explore real-world challenges and develop meaningful solutions.

Integrate into an existing course or design something new

To support this shift, Work Package 7 – INGENIUM for Sustainable Development has developed a rich collection of ready-to-use teaching materials for all INGENIUM educators. Whether you want to integrate sustainability into an existing course or design something entirely new, the resources are practical, flexible, and easy to adapt.

The materials have been created by multidisciplinary teams of experts from across Europe, bringing together diverse perspectives and experiences.
