Enable Research for Impact: Call Open for the Next INGENIUM Senior Summer School at MTU, Cork, Ireland
The INGENIUM European University is pleased to announce that applications will open shortly for the Senior Summer School 2026, hosted by Munster Technological University in Cork, Ireland, from 25–29 May 2026.
Under the theme “Enable Research for Impact”, with a focus on Sustainability, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Summer School will bring together Master’s students, Ph.D. candidates, staff, mentors and industry experts from across Europe to explore how research can be translated into meaningful societal, environmental, and economic impact.
Throughout the week, participants will engage with interdisciplinary perspectives on how research can drive sustainable development, foster innovation, and support entrepreneurial thinking across disciplines.
A Unique Opportunity For Senior Students
Through this edition of the INGENIUM Senior School, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Join an international and interdisciplinary learning community within the INGENIUM alliance;
- Collaborate with peers, academics, and professionals from partner universities;
- Strengthen research, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills;
- Explore pathways for transforming research into real-world impact.
The programme combines an intensive academic core with interactive workshops, group work, and collaborative activities, encouraging dialogue and exchange across disciplines.
In addition to the academic programme, the Senior School at MTU offers a rich extra-curricular dimension. Participants will enjoy opportunities for informal networking and cultural activities in Cork, fostering collaboration, creativity, and lasting connections across the INGENIUM European University network. These shared experiences complement the academic work with moments of discovery and engagement.

Applications for the INGENIUM Senior School are managed locally by each INGENIUM partner university. However, all applications must be submitted through the INGENIUM School Platform.
