The BIP International Staff Training Week – Building Inclusive Universities from Within offers a unique opportunity to explore how universities can transform their mobility practices to become more equitable and inclusive. Through hands-on workshops, expert-led discussions, and peer exchanges, participants will gain concrete tools to better welcome, support, and empower diverse mobile students and staff.

As diversity among students and staff grows, institutions must strengthen their capacity to create safe, accessible, and supportive environments for everyone. This includes addressing barriers related to disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, or any form of discrimination.
This training week is designed to help administrative staff build practical expertise in inclusive practices, develop coordinated institutional strategies, and co-create solutions across departments.
Together, we will explore how to ensure that mobility is not only possible, but truly beneficial and empowering for all participants.

Online preparatory workshop – 19 March
A first collective session to set the foundations before meeting in person.
On-site Training Week – 23–27 March
Featuring:
- Panel discussions and workshops on inclusive mobilities, with a focus on removing barriers and promoting equity.
- Sessions dedicated to welcoming and supporting diverse students and staff (LGBTQIA+ inclusion, disability support, socioeconomic challenges, intersectionality).
- Policy-focused exchanges on inclusion at institutional and alliance level, including examples from INGENIUM and partner universities.
- Interactive activities for sharing challenges, strategies, and best practices.
- Student testimonies and campus visits, highlighting real experiences and accessibility measures.
