INGENIUM at EAIE 2025 in Gothenburg: Sharing good practices in the Spirit of GO-Create
From 9 to 12 September 2025, the European higher education community will gather in Gothenburg for the 35th Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition. Under this year’s theme, “GO-Create”, the event will bring together thousands of professionals from around the world to explore new ideas and shape the future of international education.
Meet INGENIUM at Stand P80
For the second year in a row, INGENIUM European University Alliance will be present at the EAIE 2025, in the Exhibition Area, this time at Stand P80, together with fellow alliances EU GREEN and NEOLAiA. Visitors are warmly invited to drop by and explore more on how INGENIUM is fostering cross‑border cooperation, enhancing educational impact, and supporting students and staff through our alliance’s activities.

University of Skövde: An INGENIUM Partner at the Heart of EAIE 2025
This year’s conference is especially meaningful for INGENIUM, as one of its members, the University of Skövde, is among the hosting partners of EAIE 2025. Its involvement reflects the university’s strong commitment to innovation, internationalisation, and engagement with society.
“The GO-Create theme resonates strongly with the innovative spirit of the University of Skövde, from our study programmes to our close collaboration with industry and society. Through INGENIUM, we extend this commitment to a European level, strengthening the international dimension of all our activities”
said Mikael Ejdeback, Deputy vice-chancellor for Internationalisation and INGENIUM IPC at the University of Skövde

As part of EAIE 2025, the University of Skövde will also host a Campus Experience, showcasing why it was named Sweden’s Student City of the Year 2025. Visitors will explore the university’s five schools and take part in hands-on activities — from a DNA Lab Tour in the School of Bioscience to testing aging simulation suits at the Skaraborg Health Technology Center. The day will offer a first-hand look at Skövde’s strengths in bioscience, health, engineering, and digital transformation — and, of course, a chance to enjoy Swedish fika.
European University Alliances Together at EAIE 2025
Alongside INGENIUM, dozens of European University Alliances are participating in EAIE 2025, highlighting the growing role of this initiative across the higher education landscape. Coordinated by FOREU4ALL — a Community of Practice that connects all 65 alliances — this joint presence at the EAIE underscores how we are working together to advance internationalisation and innovation.
Throughout the year, FOREU4ALL supports collaboration between alliances through 20 topical groups and a programme of peer learning, ensuring that good practices and results are shared both within the initiative and with the wider sector. At EAIE 2025, a record of 35 alliances (representing more than 300 higher education institutions) will be present in Gothenburg under this umbrella.
In addition to their exhibition stands, FOREU4ALL and the European Commission will co-host a World Café titled “European Universities Alliances & FOREU4ALL: Adding value to the higher education sector”, Wednesday, 10 September, 13:30–14:30.
Participants can also discover the European Universities initiative in a range of dedicated sessions throughout the conference, exploring themes from student engagement and mobility to innovation and competitiveness.
