INGENIUM micro credentials for lifelong learning
The INGENIUM European University promotes open and lifelong learning by providing micro credentials and open educational resources.
The micro credentials will be offered in a joint learning and innovation platform. Micro credentials can be used as either informal learning opportunities or as part of more formal education.
Continuous learning and online learning are supported by high quality open access learning material and openly delivered on a common learning material platform. Materials will be used primarily to support micro credentials. The high quality of learning material is guaranteed by a peer review practice developed in and by the INGENIUM European University.
To promote continuous learning INGENIUM European University will:
- Introduce and develop a joint platform for micro credentials for the use of INGENIUM European University
- Define the qualification criteria for micro credentials
- Outline the quality assessment practices of learning material
- Support and coordinate the decentralised learning material production
