INGENIUM’s 2025 Joint Academic Offers Call Reveals Strong Momentum for Cross-Alliance Collaboration

INGENIUM enters the next phase of the 2025 Joint Academic Offers Call with encouraging signs of academic engagement across the alliance. More than 260 proposals were submitted this autumn, reflecting a shared commitment to building joint courses, micro-credentials, programmes, and collaborative teaching initiatives.

A growing appetite for partnerships

A remarkable share of submissions — almost 60% — comes from individual academics looking for partners across the network. This signals not only interest in the call, but a broader desire to connect, collaborate, and co-create within the alliance.

Interdisciplinarity as a defining trend

What stands out most is the rise of interdisciplinary thinking. More than half of all proposals reference domains beyond their stated thematic area, bringing together combinations such as:

  • engineering & AI
  • health & data science
  • sustainability & business innovation
  • humanities & emerging technologies

This suggests that INGENIUM academics are increasingly inspired to design learning experiences that address complex global challenges through multiple lenses.

Explore Proposals and Find Your Partners

To support collaboration, the alliance has published a searchable list of all proposals on the call webpage. Academics can browse ideas, filter them by thematic area or type of offer, and identify colleagues with complementary expertise.

The list is open not just to applicants, but to any academic interested in joining or forming a team.

Join the Matchmaking Webinars in December

INGENIUM will host a series of thematic matchmaking webinars between 8 and 17 December. Applicants will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas and connect with potential collaborators across the alliance.

Academics who did not submit an EOI but would like to partner with existing applicants are warmly invited to attend and engage.

Together Toward Joint Academic Innovation

The strong participation and interdisciplinary momentum highlight an exciting trajectory for the alliance. INGENIUM’s academic community is not only willing but ready to work together on shaping new learning opportunities for students — across institutions, disciplines, and borders.
