Active Life Lab has several facilities: Smart Gym

Smart Gym is equipped with research- level measurement devices: Ear EEG (IDUN Guardian Audio Development Kit), 20 channel EEG (Enobio), Polar H10 (20), Polar V800 (5), Tanita MC-980, Metamax VO2 max, Myontec EMG shorts (7), Fibion (20), iPads (15), Motek C-Mill treadmill, Monark LC4 and Ergoline bicycles, GoPro and Insta 360 cameras, Lactate Plus, HTC Vive, Omron BP (3) and Muse Headband (13). VR nature room at Active Life Lab features immersive 3D-like landscapes with video projected onto walls, recorded in various Finnish locations across all seasons and times of day. Multichannel audio enhances the experience. Users can select different landscapes via an interactive wall. Interactive wall features also cognitive tests and games that combine movement and cognition. It measures memory, reasoning, attention, and executive function. Supports both distributed and barrier-free implementation.
