The INGENIUM European University is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Senior Winter School 2026, hosted by “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iași, Romania, from 26–30 January 2026.
Under the theme “Science Meets Industry”, the Winter School will gather Master’s students, Ph.D. candidates, staff, mentors and industry experts from across Europe to explore how research and industry can work together to create innovative, responsible, and sustainable solutions.
This edition offers three distinct tracks and participants will have the opportunity to choose one area to focus on during the week:
- Creative Convergence: Innovating Industries Together – designing sustainable packaging and learning about intellectual property and patenting.
- Ethical AI Development – exploring fairness, accountability, and transparency in the use of artificial intelligence.
- Driving Innovation Through Industry Challenges – co-creating solutions to real-world challenges proposed by industry partners.
Alongside the on-site programme in Iași, students will also take part in two online preparatory sessions in early January and a follow-up meeting in February, ensuring continuity and deeper engagement beyond the event itself.
A unique opportunity for senior students
Master’s and Ph.D. students from INGENIUM partner universities have through this edition of Senior Winter School a unique opportunity to:
