The next Junior Summer School at UdA, May 26-30, 2025: Cultivating Resilience in Academia

The University G. d’Annunzio Chieti-Pescara (UdA) is thrilled to host the INGENIUM Junior Summer School, an immersive five-day program taking place from 26 to 30 May, 2025. This edition, open to  bachelor students from all INGENIUM universities, is dedicated to a critical yet often overlooked topic: Cultivating Resilience in Academia.

Academic life is a rewarding but demanding journey. Students face increasing pressure from coursework, research, deadlines, and the challenges of personal and professional development. The INGENIUM Junior School at UdA aims to equip students with practical tools to manage academic stress, enhance their well-being, and build resilience for long-term success.

A Hands-On Approach to Well-Being

What makes this school unique is its strong emphasis on practical activities. Participants will engage in interactive workshops, experiential learning sessions, and collaborative exercises designed to strengthen their ability to cope with stress and academic challenges. Activities will include:

  • Mindfulness and Stress-Management Techniques
  • Building Academic Confidence and Overcoming Setbacks
  • Physical and Mental Well-Being in Academic Life

These sessions will be led by experts in psychology, education, and well-being, providing students with evidence-based strategies to foster a healthier and more sustainable academic experience.

A Collaborative and Multicultural Experience

As part of the INGENIUM European University, this junior school is not just about personal growth – it is also a unique international experience. Students from ten universities across Europe will come together, fostering a multicultural environment that promotes collaboration, networking, and the exchange of diverse perspectives.

The program will also include opportunities for social and cultural activities, allowing participants to explore the beautiful cities of Chieti and Pescara while connecting with like-minded peers.

Join us in May for a transformative experience that will help you thrive in academia and beyond!
