• The BIP “Emergency Medicine in a Changing World” is designed for undergraduate students interested in the evolving challenges of emergency healthcare in a rapidly changing global context. The programme addresses how demographic shifts, technological innovation, climate change, global health threats, and societal transformations are reshaping emergency medicine and acute care systems worldwide. Key topics include:
  • Emergency care in the context of climate change, disasters, and extreme events;
  • Digital technologies and innovation in emergency medicine (telemedicine, AI-supported diagnostics, decision support systems);
  • Preparedness and response to pandemics and global health emergencies;
