What’s a dream teaching method of a young innovator? Share your idea to INGENIUM’s competition!

We are looking for ideas of young innovators, who are INGENIUM students and staff!

Share us the class of your dreams, your own scenario of what teaching should be like or a teaching practice that you are developing. Submit your innovative ideas in participatory learning and share them with the INGENIUM European University Alliance!

By participating in this competition, you have a chance to win a trip to the next 10 Days of INGENIUM!

During the 10 Days of INGENIUM either in Sweden or Romania the winner will present their idea in a short presentation possibly in the opening ceremony or for the Staff Academy workshop. The winner can participate in the events of the 10 Days of INGENIUM. The details of the participation and the presentation will be decided with the winner according to their status (undergraduate, postgraduate, PHD student or staff) to suit their needs. The winner will get mentoring and contacts in the relative field of their idea. The winner will travel with their university’s group and the travel, accommodation and meals during the event are covered.

Prize trip to 10 Days of INGENIUM 2026, either Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, Romania 26.-30.1.2026 or University of Skövde, Sweden 2.-6.2.2026.

Your category is Young Innovators Awards

Open to emerging innovators who are ready share their ideas with the INGENIUM community! INGENIUM students and staff can apply. This category encourages applicants to present their innovative ideas in participatory learning! You can apply by yourself or with a partner, only one application is needed from a pair.

We are looking for ideas that use participatory methods such as interactive and co-creative processes and utilize technology, for example gaming, world-building, social networking or other virtual environments.

The competition’s name is the Best New Media Teaching Practices and it’s open for all disciplines! The term new media in the competition’s name means that we are looking for ideas of teaching and learning that utilize digital environments, the internet, digital devices, interactive platforms and so on.

Submit your idea by the 15th of October

Enter by submitting a short information form (incl. a short concept synopsis and a summary of the proposal’s novelty) and attach a presentation of the key aspects of your proposal (Max. 6 slides, PDF) on the application portal by 15th of October! You can apply by yourself or with a partner, only one application is needed from a pair.
