10 Days of INGENIUM
Exploring diversity and excellence: Junior and Senior Summer School, Staff Academy and Science Factory
INGENIUM, as an alliance between 10 universities, wants to use diversity to pursue excellence in European Higher Education. Embodying the diverse geography, cultural background, and organization activities the partners share the same values regarding education, research, innovation and social engagement.
Twice a year the INGENIUM European University organizes the 10 DAYS OF INGENIUM event. This year we organize the first event hosted by Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences from Germany and University “G. d’Annunzio” from Italy.
Who will participate?
Junior & Senior Summer School relates to students enrolled in bachelor, master, and doctoral studies from partner universities. The academic staff is joining as well to meet and act as mentors, trainers, and keynote lecturers. Complementary to students program, there are multiple workshops regarding Non-discriminatory and Socially Engaged Higher Education, best cases in Innovative Teaching and Lifelong Learning during Staff Academy sessions, projects development and networking in the Science Factory program.
Is it international?
Yes it is! The event will bring together students, academic and administrative staff belonging to INGENIUM partner universities from: Italy, Romania, Germany, Bulgaria, Ireland, Finland, Greece, Spain, France and Sweden.
What else is to know?
The event has on-site and hybrid activities that will allow the participants to be involved and gather the information they are interested in such as:
- Outdoor activities
- Team buildings
- Open Campus Day
- Informal networking and cultural activities.
Junior Summer School on Language, Culture and Diversity
The first INGENIUM Junior Summer School on Language, Culture and Diversity brings together students from all 10 INGENIUM members in Europe to explore, reflect, and create within a narrative space that fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and cross-cultural understanding. Through interactive workshops, lectures, and cultural activities, students will develop some basic German language skills, broaden their cultural competence, and gain a nuanced understanding of European society from the perspective of a foreign student in Karlsruhe. By the end of the program, students will have honed their skills for academic, personal, and professional growth and collaboration.

The first INGENIUM Senior Summer School is a unique and immersive learning experience focused on health, well-being and technology. The “10 days of INGENIUM – Health, Well-being and Technology ” event is a unique opportunity for faculties, researchers, and students from different backgrounds to exchange knowledge, ideas, and best practices, as well as to network and collaborate with peers from the 10 partner Institutions. The event will feature keynote speeches, technical presentations, workshops, and panel discussions on a wide range of topics related to Health, well-being and Technology.

Staff Academy Workshops
