Top interesting teaching innovations in the INGENIUM Staff Academy Webinar on 9 April

The INGENIUM Staff Academy Webinar Series continues on April 9 at 12–13 (CET). These webinars are for sharing excellent pedagogical practices, and this time we have two guest speakers from the University of Oviedo. You are welcome to hear their innovative teaching methods!

Jose González Pérez, Professor, University of Oviedo:
A holistic approach to a Flipped Classroom experience in the frame of STEM subjects in the field of Fluid Machinery, Systems and Installations.

Aránzazu Martín Suarez, Doctor, Associate Professor, University of Oviedo:
Implementing the escape room as a new teaching innovation. The work is carried out by 6th year medical students. Script and phases for its realization will be presented as well as a demonstration video of the session.

What to Expect?

Each INGENIUM Staff Academy Webinar includes 1–3 short case presentations on cutting-edge teaching practices, followed by a lively discussion and Q&A session. The entire webinar unfolds on Zoom.

The webinars will be organized by the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk) every month excluding holidays. There is one more webinar this spring on May 16 and the series will continue again in the autumn.
