University of Rouen Normandy delegation visits Munster Technological University

From 7 to 9 of November a delegation of teachers, researchers and administrators from University of Rouen Normandy (URN) visited Munster Technological University (MTU) and met more than thirty Irish colleagues. Thus the Institutes of Technology of Rouen and Évreux, School of Engineering in Innovative Technologies, School of Management, Faculties of Humanities, of Social Sciences, of Science and Technology and of Sciences and Techniques of Physical and Sports Activities were able to meet their counterparts and discuss their training programs and their research laboratories.

The welcome was warm and the trip received a positive response from all participants.

After a presentation of the two universities, numerous meetings took place to visit research labs, practical work rooms, start-up incubators, and, of course, to discuss training.

Everyone was able to note the similarity in the strategy and values of the two establishments, the possible synergies both in research and training and the desire on each side to collaborate. The first contact will now lead to discussions and exchanges.
