Virtual Virtual Event

Online Intercultural Workshop on Stereotypes

November 9 @ 12:00 - 13:00 CET

Virtual Virtual Event

Our INGENIUM “Stereotype” workshop will discuss in an interactive way how stereotypes can have an impact on our lives. For example, stereotyping involves categorising people into groups (based on their nationality or ethnicity for example) and making judgements about their societal norms, status and culture. In many cases, the impressions formed of people within these stereotypes are not based on facts but rather on oversimplified beliefs.

We will include group discussion, video clips, practical exercises, share handouts and provide information on stereotypes. We will have three facilitators from France, Romania and Ireland. Duration: 1 hour.
