Munster Technological University promotes entrepreneurship at Winter Junior School for INGENIUM Students
MTU hosted the Entrepreneurial Winter Junior School for INGENIUM students as part of the “10 Days of INGENIUM” initiative and was held on campus at Munster Technological University from 12th to 16th February 2024.
Over fifty students from across INGENIUM took part in activities to introduce them to entrepreneurship. Team-building exercises and entrepreneurial training took place including:
- A 2-day intercampus Hackathon combining multiple disciplines, working together to tackle key challenges in Cyber Security and Sustainability and
- An introduction to the Business Model Canvas Entrepreneurial tool.
- Teambuilding – students and mentors undertook ‘The Marshmallow Challenge’

The first in-person meeting of the WP8 Entrepreneurial INGENIUM working group also took place at the MTU Rubicon Incubation Centre. The group also attended a programme of events including:
- A Presentation on MTU’s Technology Transfer and Spin-out Eco System with Mr. Ronan Coleman, MTU Commercialisation Specialist
- An Incubation and Accelerator Delivery Focused Workshop also took place with the following presentations:
