Apply for INGENIUM’s on-site Health Promotion Micro-Credential and spend a week in Spain in July!

An international intensive study week in Spain is open for applications for Master and PhD level students as well as for Bachelor level students who already have a completed Bachelor level degree from a field that is listed below. Also, people outside of the INGENIUM universities can apply if they fit the criteria of having a Bachelor-level degree as listed below.

This INGENIUM Micro-Credential, Health Promotion Strategies for Health Professionals (2 ECTS), will take place on 20–24 July 2026 in Oviedo, Spain. Teaching will be delivered on-site daily from 9:00 to 12:00, and the language of instruction will be English.

The participation fee is 35 euros, which includes both the course registration and accommodation for the duration of the course. Traveling and other costs are not covered by INGENIUM.

The aim of the course is to strengthen participants’ competencies in health promotion and to develop their ability to design and implement evidence-based interventions in different real-world contexts.

During the course, students will become familiar with key concepts and the development of health promotion, determinants of health, and major behaviour change theories. In addition, students will practice designing evidence-based interventions.

This micro-credential will be hosted by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Oviedo, Spain. It’s jointly designed and delivered by Universidad de Oviedo, South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences and Medical University of Sofia.
