INGENIUM at EAIE 2026: Connecting across borders in the Rhythm of Revolution

INGENIUM European University Alliance will be present at Booth G54 at the 36th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for International Education (EAIE), taking place in Glasgow, Scotland, from 8 to 11 September 2026.

For the third time, INGENIUM will join the EAIE community, bringing together colleagues from our partner universities and connecting with higher education professionals from across Europe and beyond.

EAIE 2026 offers an important opportunity for INGENIUM to share our experience as a European University Alliance, exchange good practices, strengthen existing partnerships and build new connections with institutions and organisations working to shape the future of European higher education.

Meet INGENIUM at Booth G54

Visitors to Booth G54 will have the opportunity to meet the INGENIUM team and discover more about our Alliance and our work towards building a more connected, inclusive and innovative European university.

Through collaboration across our 10 partner universities, INGENIUM brings together diverse academic communities, expertise and perspectives to develop new opportunities for students and staff, strengthen transnational cooperation and connect education, research, innovation, entrepreneurship and societal engagement.

Our presence at EAIE is a chance to showcase this collaborative approach and, just as importantly, to listen, exchange ideas and learn from colleagues across the international higher education community.

Among 36 European Universities alliances at EAIE 2026

INGENIUM will be among 36 European Universities alliances coming together at EAIE 2026. Collectively, these alliances represent more than 300 higher education institutions across Europe, reflecting the continued growth and impact of the European Universities Initiative, the European Commission’s flagship programme launched in 2019.

The initiative now brings together 65 European Universities alliances and 8 Seal of Excellence alliances, advancing deeper transnational cooperation in higher education, research and innovation.

The collective presence of the alliances at EAIE highlights the growing role of European Universities in shaping a more connected European Higher Education Area — through innovation, inclusion, mobility and strategic international partnerships.

In the Rhythm of Revolution

This year’s EAIE theme, “The Rhythm of Revolution,” invites participants to question, collaborate and create lasting change.

For INGENIUM, this spirit reflects the importance of challenging traditional approaches, experimenting with new forms of cooperation and creating meaningful connections between universities, communities and society.

As the Alliance continues to develop its activities across 10 European universities, international events such as EAIE provide a valuable space to share what we are learning, discover new perspectives and contribute to the wider conversation on the future of higher education.

Across EAIE 2026, the 36 participating European Universities alliances will showcase their initiatives and experiences through more than 40 sessions and networking events — demonstrating the breadth of collaboration taking place across the European Universities Initiative.

We are proud to be part of this growing community and look forward to connecting, exchanging and creating new opportunities together in Glasgow.

Come and find us at Booth G54. We’d love to meet you!
